Course Description:

This presentation is appropriate for the dentist who is interested in greater understanding of the characteristics of treatment modalities for patients with an edentulous arch or arches. The emphasis of the presentation will include a comparative analysis of tissue-supported, implant-supported, fixed and removable solutions. By appreciating the value and limitations
of available restorative options, the attendee will gain confidence in prescribing the latest implant restorative innovations for their patients. The format for this course is lecture with invitation to question and answer.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants will be able to:

• Confidently treatment plan and restore dental implants in everyday practice

• Identify different types of implant modalities and options and understand the advantages and limitations of each

• Recognize which treatment modality addresses the needs unique to a patient

• Understand why the new abutment design provides a more secure foundation for screw-retained options

• Confidently prescribe innovations in new abutment design including the latest in metal supported zirconia and printed resin for full-arch restoration
